On the occasion of the national holiday of 20 August, the President of the Republic of Hungary awarded Dr. Csaba Szomolai, Vice President of the State Audit Office of Hungary, with the Hungarian Order of Merit, Officer’s Cross. The award was handed over by Deputy Minister András Tállai at today’s event.
The State Audit Office of Hungary considers the transparency of the financial management of local governments to be extremely important therefore requests them to provide mandatory data.
On the occasion of 180th anniversary of the original establishment of the State Audit Institution of Serbia, a high-level event was organised in Belgrade on 24-26 July 2024, at which the State Audit Office of Hungary was represented by its Vice-President, Dr. Csaba Szomolai.
The State Audit Office of Hungary audited the implementation and accounting of expenses appearing in the cash flow of certain local governments, their energy efficiency measures and financial management as well as the related regulations.
