On the occasion of the national holiday of 20 August, the President of the Republic of Hungary awarded Dr. Csaba Szomolai, Vice President of the State Audit Office of Hungary, with the Hungarian Order of Merit, Officer’s Cross. The award was handed over by Deputy Minister András Tállai at today’s event.
Dr. Csaba Szomolai, as Vice President of the SAO, took a decisive role in the establishment of the new audit principles of the institution and the further development of audit methodologies as well as the creation of the conditions for quality-oriented operation.
According to the justification for the award, Dr. Csaba Szomolai has been working for more than 25 years to create the orderly and transparent operation of the money, capital and insurance markets in order to ensure the prudent operation of domestic economic actors, thus contributing to the efficient operation of the financial intermediary system and the maintenance of the financial and economic stability of the country.
